Jesus - from the tribe of Judah instead of the tribe of Levi (the priesthood of Levi, where the law was based). Jesus is a priest in the order of Melchizedek as we read in Hebrews 7 which described Melchizedek is greater than Abraham. 

So, Jesus is in the order of Melchizedek. Consider how great this Melchizedek was and even Abraham paid a tenth to him. It is obvious that the person who has the power to give a blessing is greater than the one who is blessed. (See Hebrews 7:4-7)

The psalmist prophesied the greatness of Jesus - 'You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.' Jesus became a priest not by meeting the physical requirement of belonging to the tribe of Levi. Jesus became a priest by the "power of a life" that cannot be destroyed! Therefore, as believers of God, we have a BETTER HOPE in Jesus - Jesus is the confidence of a BETTER HOPE for us. And through Him, we draw near to God. Amen. 

Jesus is our BETTER HOPE - through Jesus, we draw near to God. Jesus Christ is our great High Priest. Amen. (Hebrews 7:19)

Jesus lives forever and His priesthood lasts forever! He can save those who come to God through Him. He lives forever to intercede with God on our behalf - Hebrews 7:25

What an assurance we have in the name of Jesus. What a comfort to know that Jesus, our Great High Priest is there to intercede with God on our behalf! He is there for us helping us and assisting us by His holy spirit. We are never alone! We are never alone!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you so much for Your son Jesus Christ to be our Great High Priest. We can have a better hope in the name of Jesus and we have an intercessor up in Heaven to pray on our behalf. How blessed we really are. Lord, bless our heart with this assurance today and know that we are never alone. You are there for us always. We praise you Lord and we thank you! Amen.
